Ladies Fellowship is run by the Church for women who want to enjoy an afternoon of relaxed worship and Christian friendship. It is mainly attended by those who are past retirement age… but all are welcome!
Their time together will include several songs and a speaker, who will talk for about 25 minutes. These talks are on various topics, including personal testimonies, Bible passages, and stories from charity workers. Occasionally they have musical afternoons.
This is always followed by tea, cakes and chat.
During the year the Ladies Fellowship arranges a number of special events, including an outing, usually to Southend for Fish and Chips, a Christmas Dinner, a ‘Carols and Mince Pies’ afternoon, as well as Strawberry and Summer Teas. Twice a year they have exchange meetings with Grays Baptist Church.
